Alison Bigley joins OracleBio as Clinical Operations Manager


OracleBio is delighted to announce that Alison Bigley has recently joined the company as its new Clinical Operations Manager to enhance OracleBio’s growing clinical histopathology image analysis services.

Previously, Alison spent over 25 years in the Pharmaceutical industry as an Associate Principal Scientist and Team Leader in Pathology (AstraZeneca, Innovative Medicines and Early Development, Drug Safety and Metabolism) and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her new role.

Whilst at AstraZeneca, Alison established and led a global digital pathology platform for light and electron microscopy imaging and analysis. Alison has experience of algorithm development in various analysis software platforms including Definiens Developer®, application development, GxP validation on a range of analysis systems and reporting on imaging and ultrastructural GLP studies. Alison also has considerable experience in histology, immunohistochemistry and imaging and has worked on projects across various therapeutic areas in the drug discovery process involving pre-clinical, safety and translational medicine.

Alison will be visiting clinical R&D clients over the coming months and will also join OracleBio’s CSO, Lorcan Sherry, at OracleBio’s exhibitor booth for the upcoming ASCO annual meeting in Chicago, 3-6th June. We look forward to hopefully seeing you there!
