Alida Buchan joins OracleBio as HR Business Partner

We’re delighted to welcome Alida Buchan to the OracleBio team!

As our new HR Business Partner, Alida brings fresh thinking and a wealth of experience — having previously supported the growth ambitions and development of the people behind innovative SMEs through to multi-nationals.

John Waller, OracleBio’s Chief Operating Officer, commented: “As our team continues to grow, it’s more important than ever that we ensure our people are fully supported and provided with development opportunities. It is also vital that we continue to attract and retain top talent. We’re thrilled to have Alida on board to help us in the next phase of our growth”.

Regarding her new appointment, Alida commented: “I have been wowed by the amazing work of the OracleBio team. It’s clear that people are at the core of the company, and there is nothing more important than how we attract, develop and retain our people to ensure the business meets the challenges of the future. My role will be to continually develop our talent within our expanding business by attracting, developing, and retaining diverse people with the right skills, along with working in an environment that nurtures and gets the best out of everyone.”

Alida added: “I am building on the great work already being done for people across the business to make OracleBio a truly great place for opportunities, career development, reward, and recognition. I am thrilled to be part of this exciting team and looking forward to working with a business who are pioneering the use of digital pathology for research and development in crucial areas such as cancer research.”
