OracleBio data was presented on a poster at the International Molecular Medicine Tri-Conference, which took place in San Francisco on the 19th – 24th February 2017. The poster, made in collaboration with Asterand Bioscience, is entitled ‘Content and Spatial Distribution Analysis of PD-L1 Positive Tumor Cells and CD8 Positive T-Cells within Multiplex IHC Stained NSCLC Tumor Tissue’. The poster shows data from a study in which non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) tumor tissue was stained by multiplex chromogenic immunohistochemistry (IHC) and the content and spatial distribution of PD-L1 positive tumor cells (PD-L1+ / Pan-CK+) and CD8+ cells within the tissue was quantified using digital image analysis. The data demonstrates that multiplex IHC combined with digital image analysis can be used effectively to evaluate the content and spatial distribution of immune cell populations in relation to target positive tumor cells. This approach can help confirm the mechanism of action of therapies that are designed to enhance or reduce the interaction between specific cell types within tumor tissue.
